After filing taxes electronically, submitting 1099-R forms where tax was withheld

I filed my 2022 taxes electronically. The paper 1040 form says to attach Forms 1099-R if tax was withheld. How do I do that? Do I send in the paper copies to the IRS?

No. If you e-filed it was all done electronically. You do not mail anything if you e-filed. It is only when you are paper filing by mail that you would need to attach 1099R's. You do not need to mail them. Save them with your other important tax documents.
