Question

Am I unable to use the negative values I received on my SSA-1099 form for tax benefits through turbo tax? Must I do it outside of turbo tax?

I paid money into SSA, thus my value in box 5 is negative.  When turbo tax saw this, it said I could receive tax benefits through IRS Publication 915.  Do I have to do this outside and separate from turbo tax?
