Question

Am retiring and want to use TurboTax to calculate future taxes on Social Security and IRA withdrawals. is there a way of doing that without filling in EVERY line item?

don't know how much I will be taxed based upon my age, what I get from Social Security, and IRA withdrawls.  Turbotax seems the best software to use, but I don't want to answer every question it has, especially since it isn't relevant. (Won't be filed, just used as a guideline.)  Is there an easy way to create multiple scenarios without getting beaten up by TurboTax for blank lines?

You can use the Form W-4 and estimated taxes routine in TurboTax to estimate taxes on next year's return. It doesn't make you enter too many questions. Look in the Other Tax Forms section in the Other Tax Situations menu in TurboTax.
