Question

Asked to review my 1099-B and enter a 'date acquired' for a security. I enter the date and it just reloads and asks again. Unable to get past this glitch. Any advice?

I just need to enter a date for 1 security that isn't loading from the brokerage account.  Every time I enter it as asked, it reloads like I never entered it.

Write down the information you do have for this 1099-B, then delete the entry altogether and re-enter it manually.

 

Use the "Trash can" icon on the Investment Summary page to remove the offending 1099-B.
