Box 8 is empty on my 1099-R, but Turbo Tax says I have to enter a number. What is it looking for?

Please go back and make sure you are entering your 1099-R in the correct place. Box 8 is usually, and should be left empty on 99% of 1099Rs. There is not a known issue on anything like this right now.
