Question

Boxes 19 and 20 are filled in. We live in washington state and it does not appear as an option for associated state but it is requiring me to fill it in. What do i do?

We did not receive income from out of the state.

Boxes 18-20 is for local tax like a city or county or school tax. Do you have such a tax - it is rare.

Some employers think boxes 18-20 are unused and they can put anything thy want in those boxes but they are only for local tax. If no such local tax then leave those boxes blank.
