    Yes, the IRS does have a calculation worksheet.

     

    IRS RMD Calculator.

    • You will choose the box with your age
    • post the year that age was reached
    • You will have to have the value of all IRAs, 401-Ks and other retirement accounts (Not Pensions as of December 31st of the tax year.
    • You will look up Distribution period from Table III or life expectancy from Life Expectancy Table I or Table II 

    The calculation is the value of all retirement sources divided by the distribution period (Tables I, II or III)
