Can I change my mind and input my 1099-R digitally rather than type it in?

Some 1099-R forms can be imported, but you will need to answer the follow-up questions whether you enter manually or import.   It is usually easier to manually enter it.   When you enter the 1099-R, you will get the option to import it if the payer is a TurboTax partner.  Where do I enter a 1099-R?    How to import a 1099-R
