Form 1099-OID is used to report a special type of interest from certain bonds that were issued at a price less than the value you can redeem them for once the bond matures. To remove an unwanted 1099-OID, Sign into your TurboTax account. Open or continue your return and then search for this exact phrase: 1099-oid original issue discount. Select the Jump to link from the results list. This will bring you to the Form 1099-OID Summary screen where you can select Delete next to the unwanted 1099-OID.

Can I delete form 1099-OID? I do not need it and it is not listed under Tools->Other Helpful Links->Delete Forms list
