Question

Can I file a 1099-B without upgrading Turbo Tax? The amount is for only $16.01. Do I have to claim this amount?

No, to file a 1099-B, you would need to upgrade to TurboTax Premier.

However, for an amount this small, you don't need to upgrade. The IRS will make the amendment if it has any impact on your taxes.

This in ridiculous! I should be able to file, its a very small amount and it let me enter it so it should let me file. TurboTax is starting to turn into another one of these false advertising scamming companies.
