Question

Can I get out of signing up for Deluxe after revising my Federal to take out retirement benefit contribution?

I initially added that I had retirement benefit contibutions but Turbo Tax is saying I now must upgrade to Deluxe. I went back and removed the contribution but Turbo Tax isn't removing the Deluxe upgrade requirement.

Go back thru the RSCCredit interview section again on the Deductions&Credits page and indicate you were a full time student during 2020...that disqualifies the Credit that you are not required to apply for...
