Can I tell go ahead and tell Turbo Tax the amount that should have been listed in Box 16 on a 1099-R form even though the amount was listed in Box 14?
Turbo Tax won't let me file electronically until I tell it an amount was listed in Box 16 on a 1099-R form, although the 1099-R form I received had the State Tax that was withheld listed in Box 14. Why can't I just tell Turbo Tax the amount that was listed in box 14 for Box 16.
