Can I use amount in box 4 on my 1099 when filing my taxes?

can't find where to add amount of box 4 on the form 1040? don't know if I should add it or not?

Yes, please enter you 1099-R as shown. Box 4 federal taxes will be carried to line 25b on Form 1040.

If you have a different form 1099, for example 1099-DIV then follow these steps:

Login to your TurboTax Account
Click on the Search box on the top and type “1099-DIV”
Click on “Jump to 1099-DIV”
On the "Let's get the info from your 1099-DIV" screen click "My form has info in other boxes" under box 2a
