Question

Cannot proceed with my return. My 1099-NEC has nothing entered in box 5 or 6 (as suggested by the community). Suggestions?

Form shows only amounts in Box 1 and Box 7. Tried entering 0 in box 4, and 0 combined with state and EIN in box 6. Still cannot proceed.

    Leave all boxes except 1 completely blank.   Put your cursor in the fields and clear them; hit the delete/backspace buttons a few times to each field to ensure they are empty.
