Contributions to 2 retirement plans (401k & 457b)

My wife's school employer offers both 401k and 457b plans (we chose 1 Roth and 1 regular). In 2024, she contributed the max of $46,000 to those 2 plans ($23K each). After entering W-2 info in Turbotax, application is now calling this out as exceeding the maximum ($23K)". I saw another thread with the exact same bug on 2022. But the instructions don't match my Turbotax Desktop on Mac.

Here's the link to the other thread:

Looks like the similar bug popped up in 2024 version.  I'm sure I can contribute the max in both 401K and 457(b).    Our single W2 has $23K in box 12 (D - for 401k) and (EE - for Roth 457).

Yes, she can contribute $23,000 to each the 401k and 457b (IRS).

If you verified that she didn't make an excess contribution you can ignore the warning.
