Corrected a 1099-MISC in Quick Employer Forms and now its status is "VOID_INCOMPLETE"
I corrected a 1099-MISC to 0$ as it was sent to the wrong company and followed what it told me to do. It has created the correct 1099-MISC at $0 with the Corrected Box X.
I need to make sure that the corrected copy was filed with the IRS but with its status showing "VOID_INCOMPLETE" I have my doubts and need to get confirmation that it was filed. I have attempted to call support and spoken with 4 different people and none of them have an answer.
So please help! How can I confirm if the new corrected 1099-MISC was filed to the IRS!?
