deceased parent and no 1099 r's from VA or social security. Can't get 1099's because her account is closed How can I file final tax return?

You probably need to call customer service at the various banks, brokers and services that were paying her money and might have those forms. They may need you to fill out a form or send them a copy of her death certificate and/or some kind of proof that you are her authorized representative to close out her affairs. That, in turn, might require something from your state or county probate court, but it depends on state law.
