    Yes if you're filing jointly.

     

    Your wife's social security checks are reported on her form SSA-1099 that you'll enter on your return.

     

    Social Security income may be partially taxable depending on your filing status and the level of your combined income, including Social Security income.

     

    TurboTax will automatically calculate the taxable part of your Social Security income using the IRS formula.

    Yes.  When you file a joint return you have to include ALL of your combined income, which will include your spouse's Social Security benefits.

     

     

     Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security  (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099.
