Do I have to send my 1099 in with return??

    If you will be e-filing your tax return then nothing needs to be attached to the return.

    No.  If you are e-filing you do not need to send in your 1099 with your return for the federal return.  In some states, you may need to.  If so, you will be told to do this in the instructions when you print out your return.
