This was partially answered in someone else's question but I have more information needs explained - My Example:  My total contributions from 2011-2015 are $10,700 & distributions of $0. In 2016, I contributed additional $2,400 but took distribution of $7,100.  What do I put in box?

Do I put $10,700 (2011-2015 totals) or $6,000 (2011 through 2016 contributions minus $7,100 distribution in 2016)?

Just put the total prior year Roth IRA contributions (up to but not including 2016 information) in the amount box related to prior year Roth IRA contributions (screenshot).
