Do I need to put an amount into the benefits repaid box if my 1099G box 1 doesn't include the amount overpaid that I repaid?

I actually received and repaid $766 more than box 1 shows. Box 1 shows only exactly what I was entitled to and was paid in unemployment compensation.

No. Since box 1 shows only the amount you received and doesn't include the amount that you paid back, you don't need to report the benefits that you repaid. Just enter the 1099-G as normal without worrying about the amount repaid.
