Do I need to report the $3.12 from 1099-B since the amount is so small?

The IRS says that you are required to report all income, no matter how small, and regardless of whether you received a form or not.

 

The income on form 1099-B has been reported to the IRS and the IRS may question you at a later time if you do not report the income on your tax return.
