Do me and my wife need to file Kentucky state taxs? My wife got a 1099 and I did not have any income but from workers comp and they said for me not to turn that in

Without knowing the details of your return and your income amounts, that question cannot be answered with any certainty.  

If you are a KY resident, your filing requirement will depend on your Federal Adjusted Gross Income and adjustments that KY takes into account.  The best way to know whether you need to file a KY return is to complete your Federal return using TurboTax and then rely on the advice of TurboTax to let you know if you are required to file a KY return.
