Do we add together the 2 1099R that Debra received for the same retirement account. They say she got 2 because she turned 59 1/2?

NO....They are entered separately.

There are probably different box 7 codes on each one, and they must be entered as separate 1099-R forms.

Next year, she'll get only one with teh whole year's total and a single code in box 7....probably a "7" for that one.
