Does a 401k rollover show up on the 1040?

401K DISTRIBUTION IS NOT DEDUCTED FROM INCOME.

If the 401(k) rollover is properly done and entered in TurboTax, it will appear on line 5a (sometimes) but not on line 5b.

It's not actually "deducted" somewhere, it's just not included in taxable income in line 5b.

Are you saying that your 401(k) rollover is appearing on line 5b?
