Question

Does anyone know how to get Form 8801 to appear? I need to enter AMT from last year, but TT isn't providing it via the online application. Any suggestions?

I filed via TT Online in 2022, but had to file an amended return outside TT a few months later which included AMT. Now, I want to take advantage of the credit, but TT won't let me add 8801.

Please perform the following steps:

Go to federal>deductions and credits>
Estimates and other Taxes paid>
Credit for AMT Paid in Prior Year
Answer the questions and once complete, your 8801 will appear in your return reporting the credit.
