Does retirement anuity income as a federal police officer count as Law enforce retirement for pension exclusion on Maryland state return?
Best answer by BillM223

I would say "yes".

The State of Maryland says,

"The retirement income is attributable to your service as a correctional officer, law enforcement officer or fire, rescue, or emergency services personnel of the United States[emphasis mine], the State of Maryland, or a political subdivision of Maryland."

See the State of Maryland webpage.
