For IRMAA, is MAGI sum of line 11 plus tax exempt interest? My line 11 has a deductible IRA contrib. Does IRA contribution need to be added back to get to MAGI or not?

I have gotten 3 different answers here and I am confused. Is MAGI calculated differently for different criteria? I am only interested in IRMAA.

No. MAGI for the purpose of Medicare IRMAA is line 11 plus line 2a of Form 1040.
