The farm section shows only state or local refund, agriculture payments, or market gain on ccc loans

To enter this, go back to your Schedule F to review your entries:

    1. Go to the Wages and income section
    2. Select Farm Income and Farm Rental
    3. In the Tell Us About Your Farm or Farm Rental Income, make sure to select all the types of income you received
    4. When you get to Your Farming Income and Expenses, select Visit All
    5. In the next screen enter the income you received by category—in your case select Form 1099-G

See the images below for your reference.

The section under farm income did not have a spot to enter grants. I ended up entering the grant not as part of the farm but rather other income.

Income from Form 1099-G should be reported on Schedule F when you operate a farm.

If you are using TurboTax for Desktop, you should see a page under the Farm Income topic called "Any Form 1099-G Income?" Click the box for Yes, then enter the information from Form 1099-G. Follow the interview to enter the income and other details.
