When you enter any number larger than zero in box 14, it is marked in yellow, and the following error message is displayed:
Form 1099-R (NATIONAL FINANCIAL SERVICES LLC): Box 14a For electronic filing, New York State withholdings can not be greater than or equal to gross distribution or state distribution. (box 1).
This prevents you from e-filing-- the program suggests mailing the return.
