DO THE SAME RULES APPLY TO INCOME STATED ON A FORM SSA-1099-R-0P1 AS TO FORM SSA-1099?  I HAVE NO OTHER INCOME BUT THE AMOUNT IS OVER 25,000.

It depends what the SSA-1099-R-OP1 is reporting. If you were paid a lump sum, that may be taxed differently than your 2024 benefits depending on your tax rate for the year of the lump sum payment.

Please enter that form in the

    Wages & Income

    Retirement Plans and Social Security

    Social Security (SSA_1099, RRB-1099)
