I filled out the 1099 for my Social Security but it doesn't show as taxable income even though I made over 25,000.  Do I need to do something over again?

If your only income is social security benefits and those benefits are not over $25,000, then none of it is taxable and you are not required to file a return. If you have other income along with your social security income, then some of your benefits could be taxable. However, only half of your social security benefits are included when determining if they are taxable or not. Please view the Turbo Tax FAQ below as it includes a video that will help explain taxable social security income.
