Former spouse military retirement pay

Do I check the US Military Retirement Benefits box in the question for the source of the DFAS retirement benefit I receive as a former spouse for my state of North Carolina? My ex-husband was the military member and the benefit is a QDRO from our divorce in 2009. The additional info provided states to check if it is from a 20 year military retirement, but that was his. I served before we were married and I am not the direct retiree.

Yes, check that the distribution is from military retirement.  The NC Bailey settlement covers beneficiaries of the retirement as well.  Here is a link for reference.
