Has anyone encountered any TurboTax errors when reporting Wage and Income for 1099-R for a Military pension? TurboT treats is as qualified when entering but marks as err

During the review it realizes that it is an error and forces me to review the entry but does not allow me handle it correctly.

@tersitoserate37

I think a few folks have complained about this.

It may have happened as TTX updated their software in the past couple weeks to try to fix the chaos created with a bunch of new (muddled-up) questions about RMD amounts.

One of those updates may thus have messed up your 1099-R Questions& Answers.

I've seen a couple posts from others in your situation, who appear to have fixed it by deleting the entire 1099-R form....then re-entering it manually by typing in everything, and re-answering the follow-up questions that were then presented properly.

....Don't upload a picture of PDF of any tax form....if you can't get an "import" that comes directly from the provider's computers, you should just type in the data.

Thanks for replying to my question.

I have manually re-entered the 1099-R causing the problem.  That did not seem to work in my case.

Any other ideas?

Assuming you deleted the entire form  (i.e. did not just empty the boxes.....but a full delete of the 1099-R)

then..

Just Customer Support on the phone:

How do I contact TurboTax?
