Question

Have the "Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099) modules been included? When I click on the "Update" button the same "Your 2024 Income Summary" window appears.

In TurboTax Premier Desktop, I am able to report Social Security and pension distributions by following these steps:

    • Across the top of the screen, click on Federal Taxes.
    • Across the top of the screen, click on Wages & Income.
    • Click I'll choose what I work on.
    • Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security.
    • Click to the right of Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099) to report Social Security or equivalents.

James, THX for the prompt reply and yes, have already used the work around by entering SSA Form 1099-R data by going directly to each 1099 form.

The current issue with this release of TurboTax for desktop is checking all entered data USING the EasyStep tools and that associated with "Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099)" which is 'non functional'

Thus asking when is Intuit going to release TurboTax including this functionalty?

    Regards,

    Paul
