Have two IRA accounts and taken both RMD from one account. how do I input 2nd RMD value under one 1099-R?

    Did you take any distribution from the other account?  For the RMD questions just enter the amount that’s on that one 1099R box 1.  It’s asking for each 1099R this year.

    It’s asking for each 1099R this year.   (3)

    (1) did not take distribution from other account

    (2) enter 1099-R's RMD value in box1. this value represented sum of RMDs for both accounts

    (3) Turbo follow on questions had me enter RMD for the account that provided 1099-R but did not ask question that would identify RMD value for the second account.

    You do not need to enter anything about the other account if you took the full RMD for both accounts out of 1 account.
