File a tax return and enter the sale in the investments section of TurboTax.   You will need to enter your SSA-1099 as well since you are filing a return.  Where do I enter an SSA-1099?

Where do I enter investment sale?   This includes second homes, land and timber sales.   TurboTax will figure your tax and prepare your tax forms for you.

TurboTax Premium   8949 and Schedule D needed for investments.
