Hi, I cannot change my total distributions from 1099-SA form. I see an option to change my contribution, but not the distribution. Can anyone help? Thank you. Boris.

The 1099-SA reports what was distributed from the HSA account.

You can report what was and was not used for medical expenses, but you cannot change what was distributed.

You can change what was contributed because excess can be removed in the following year and after the contributions are reported.

The amount distributed is reported by the account administrator. The amount distributed cannot be altered after the year ends.
