Hi! I have received form 1099-G from California for tax year 2015. I need help understanding what this form is and how to properly file my taxes.

The 1099-G from your state is your state refund from last year that could be taxable in certain situations, such as if you itemized deductions last year and used your state taxes as a deduction.  See the TurboTax FAQ below on how to enter your 1099-G for a state refund.
