I do understand how to add a section for INT or DIV or 1099-Bs.  However, I have included incorrect numbers in my section for 1099-B and I cannot return to the worksheet to change them.  Therefore, I'd like to delete the whole section for that 1099 and start fresh - but what I assume is a trash can does not delete anything.

The actions below will allow you to delete forms or schedules so that you can start over if you like.

You can go back to the entry to correct or delete it using the steps below. Once you see the investments, scroll to see which one you  need to delete.

Enter the information in TurboTax by using the steps below.

Open your TurboTax Online return:

  1. Select Tax Home on the left panel > Select any Income category or Pick up where you left off
  2. Select Tax Tools > Tools > Select Topic Search > Type 1099b  > Select GO (should be landed on 1099b)
  3. Select Add Investments if your 1099-B is not yet present in your list
  4. Continue to follow the prompts to enter the information yourself or make corrections or delete an entry

Open your return in TurboTax Desktop:

  1. Select Personal Income > Scroll to Investment Income > Select Stocks Cryptocurrency, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other
  2. Start or Update > Continue to follow the prompts to enter your 1099-B details

The sale of any investment is required to be included with your tax return, gain or loss.  Information from the link below may be helpful

Perhaps I should have indicated I am using Premier version for Macs.  I was stumped from step one - there is no 'left panel' of options.
