How can I get Turbo Tax to exempt my military retirement pay from my Louisiana State income?

I marked the 1099R with a Federal Retirement Code (04E). However, it is not being excluded from my Louisiana income. Turbo Tax will not let me select 04E on the state return. It also asks me for my retirement date, but does not give me a field where I can enter it.

I put 49E under other income exclusions and the number matched exactly what I computed by going to the tax tables for Louisiana. Obviously, this is not how it is supposed to work, guess I will spend another four hours inputting everything into a different software platform.

Also, Turbo Tax did give me several emails stating I earned the "Read 10 Posts" badge, thank heavens for that I feel so important now!
