How can I remove the retirement part of the tax claim so that I can do a simple claim

Your question is not quite clear---but my guess is that you want to get rid of the retirement saver credit so that you do not have to upgrade to a paid version of the software? You can tell the software that you were a student in 2022 and that will disqualify you from the retirement saver credit and allow you to stay in the Free Edition.

Or—-Use this IRS site for other ways to file for free. There are 8 free software versions available from the IRS Free File site
