Question

How come my Total Retirement income doesn't include my Social Security? The Social Security isn't added with the Retirement and only shows Retirement Income.

Social Security is treated differently than other retirement.

For example the gross Social Security Earnings, while all is entered in TurboTax, up to 85% can be taxable income based on the other income on the return.

To see your return and how this works you can:

First being in the TurboTax program working on the return

Then going to My Account in the top blue area.

Click on Tools in the drop-down window

Then below the boxes, click on View Tax Summary

Then in upper right (after Tax Summary opens) click on Preview My 1040

Look at lines 15 and 16 of the Form 1040 to see the distributions and the column to the right side is what is being added to the income on the return.  (1040A lines 11 and 12)

1040 line 20 for Social Security (1040A line 14).

Click on Back in upper left to get back to regular part of TurboTax.
