how do i change the pension and annuity amount to taxable amount

how do i change the oension distribution from 46126 to taxable amount of 40577

    The taxable amount of your pension is entered in box 2a of your form 1099-R.  If the amount in that box is not correct because of an error on the form then you need to contact the financial institution that issued you the 1099 and have them correct it.

     

    If the amount is different because of a charitable distribution or something then the system will ask you questions about your form after you have entered it.  You can make any necessary adjustments at that point.
