how do I create and file 1099 in Turbotax Premier?

Currently you can use You can use TurboTax Business or Quick Employer Forms to generate W-2 and 1099 forms for employees and contractors, as long as you have less than $10,000,000 (ten million) in total to report on these forms in any given year. This feature is not available in TurboTax Premier.

1. Go to the Quick Employer Forms site.
2. Sign in and follow the instructions to create forms.

TurboTax Desktop

1. Open TurboTax.
2. Select File.
3. Select Create 1099s/W-2s.
4. Follow the instructions to create forms online for your employees or contractors.
