How do I delete information entered for 1099-r. Entered in error.

Do you mean you want to delete the entire 1099-R?

Open your return and go to Wages & Income->Retirement Plans and Social Security->1099-R (more or less).

The first screen should be something like "Your 1099-R Entries", and it will be a table of the 1099-Rs that you have entered. To the right of the entry that you want to delete, there should be a DELETE button or perhaps a trashcan (it varies on the versions of the product).

You can delete the 1099-R here. Or you can Edit the 1099-R and change what you entered.
