It depends.

 

There are various types of 1099 forms.  The input section will depend upon the type of income it is for.

 

All of these items are entered under the Income & Expenses section in the federal interview section.  Select Show All Income to see all of the input sections.

 

You will see separate input areas for each respective source of income.
