To enter, edit or delete a form 1099-R -

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home and Business)
Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
On IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R), click the start or update button

Or enter 1099-r in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to 1099-R

I entered all the information, then TurboTax asked What did the primary do with the money.  The retirement income is for the spouse.  I can't find a way to separate it from the Primary .

You need to edit the Form 1099-R information to reflect your spouse, rather than you.

To edit your Form 1099-R information in TurboTax Online:

  1. If you don’t see 2022 TAXES in the left pane, select the dropdown to the right of Income & Expenses on the Hi, let’s keep working on your taxes! page and then select Let’s get startedPick up where you left off, or Review/Edit
    • Otherwise, in the left pane, select Federal, then Wages & Income (This is labelled Income & Expenses in TurboTax Self-Employed
  2. Scroll down and select Edit/Add to the right of IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R)
  3. On the  Here's your 1099-R info page, select Edit to the right of any account information listed
  4. On the  Who does this 1099-R belong to? screen, make sure your spouse's box is checked
  5. Proceed through the interview screens, making any corrections necessary
  6. If all the information has been corrected, select Continue on the Here's your 1099-R info screen
