How do I enter separate 1099R info for my wife?........I mark the box indicate who it is but it's not taking it.....it deletes the original entry for me

After entering the first 1099-R and going through the information screens that follow, you will be brought to the screen, Your 1099-R Entries..

  1. Click on the link Add Another 1099-R.  
  2. Continue through the screens to add the information  on the second 1099-R
  3. On the Tell Us Which 1099-R You Have screen, be sure to mark that the 1099-R belongs to you or your wife.

After you entered your 1099-R, did you select "Done" or "Done with this 1099-R"?  Typically, that will save your first entry and allow you to "Add another 1099-R".
