Did you get a 1099R for the annuity?  That's all you report and any other 1099 like for interest and dividends.  Oh do you get Social Security?  You report SS on a SSA-1099.  Just enter the forms you got.

Enter a 1099R under

Federal Taxes Tab or Personal (Home & Business)

Wages & Income at the top

Then scroll way down to Retirement Plans and Social Security,

Then IRA, 401(k), Pension Plans (1099R) - click Start or Revisit

There are 4 boxes.  Be sure to pick the right box for the kind of 1099R you got.

If you are filing a Joint return be sure to pick which person it is for.

SOCIAL SECURITY

Enter a SSA-1099, SSA-1099-SM or RRB-1099  under

Federal Taxes on the left side or top

Wages and Income

Then scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security

Then the second line - Social Security (SSA-1099. RRB-1099) - click the Start or Revisit  button

To clarify, did you receive a 1099R for the annuity payment or any other tax form reporting the payment?
